Who Am I

I’m Dr. Cynthia Gunner, a principal and education consultant with over 25 years in the work, known for disrupting what has always been done in service of what actually works. I’ve led schools through measurable transformation by building systems that demand clarity, courage, accountability, and consistency, and that continue to function when the leader steps away. I push leaders to question tradition, resist autopilot, and make intentional decisions even when it would be easier to comply, appease, or maintain the status quo. My leadership philosophy is rooted in relentless intentionality and the belief that real transformation requires the willingness to lead differently, a perspective that has been recognized nationally, including being featured in The New York Times Magazine.
